Logo

After creating my R&D file it became apparent that a logo would be needed for my website. As this is an extension to the already existing NHS scheme ‘Eat Well’ I wanted to create something similar. Below is the logo crated by NHS for the ‘Eat Well’ scheme.

After some consideration I wanted to make a logo which was relatable to the previous scheme, yet still was unique to my program. This is my final logo design:

Audience research

Because my website is going to be an extension of the NHS eat well scheme it is mainly advertised through the NHS website. It also links in with there ‘Change 4 Life’ scheme which they have television adverts for. But to give the website drive I would arrange to visit some schools to get children involved with cooking and educate them about a health lifestyle. This would be a fun activity throughout a day, designed for all primary school children. This would cost around £1000 per visit, as the visit would include T-shirts for the children (£10 each) and also ingredients to make healthy treats and meals. The £1000 would be funded through the NHS scheme and this wouldn’t be down to the school to pay.
