The making of the refine page and budget page

After making slight alterations to my homepage and how it works page i proceeded to make the refine page of my website and also budget. The feedback I received from friends and family was again to change the brightness of the picture used and also to change the font to ‘Bebas Neue’ the other font I had previously picked rather than ‘Avenir’.

The making of the home page and how it works page

Today I worked on creating the homepage for my ‘Eat Well Organiser’. I feel this went particularly well and gathered feedback from my friends and family to see what could be improved. The aspects they said that they would change was the brightness of the Clementine’s picture, which has now been altered. And also the font, I chose to change the font from ‘Kelper Semicondensed’ to ‘Avenir’.

Pictures Gathered

I then decided to look into the pictures that would be featured on my webpage I used the website:  https://foodiesfeed.com/

From this website I gathered many diverse pictures of varieties of veg and fruit. To make the image my own I imported these images into Adobe Photoshop and changed the offset of these images to make the text appear clearer when overlayed over the image on the website.

Logo

After creating my R&D file it became apparent that a logo would be needed for my website. As this is an extension to the already existing NHS scheme ‘Eat Well’ I wanted to create something similar. Below is the logo crated by NHS for the ‘Eat Well’ scheme.

After some consideration I wanted to make a logo which was relatable to the previous scheme, yet still was unique to my program. This is my final logo design:

Audience research

Because my website is going to be an extension of the NHS eat well scheme it is mainly advertised through the NHS website. It also links in with there ‘Change 4 Life’ scheme which they have television adverts for. But to give the website drive I would arrange to visit some schools to get children involved with cooking and educate them about a health lifestyle. This would be a fun activity throughout a day, designed for all primary school children. This would cost around £1000 per visit, as the visit would include T-shirts for the children (£10 each) and also ingredients to make healthy treats and meals. The £1000 would be funded through the NHS scheme and this wouldn’t be down to the school to pay.
